Fort Collins Fly Fishing Guides Report:
Our Fort Collins Fly Fishing Guides report that the fly fishing on the Cache La Poudre is good. The flows are back down and the fish are spread out again. I am serious this time look for the Blue Winged Olives to get going. Our Fly Fishing Guides are reporting that the fishing in Fort Collins (aka Town) is getting hot as well. Agriculture flows are over and the trout are hungry. This weekend looks to be awesome. Fall like weather with some rain showers in the forecast…count me in. With this kind of weather look for a good Blue Winged Olive hatch to start around 11 a.m.
Guide Recommended Flies: Dries- #18 PEC, #14 EC Caddis and a #18 BWO Cripple Nymphs- #18 J’s BWO Emerger and a #16 Old Blue
