Fly Fishing Classes in Fort Collins. As fly fishing guides we are fortunate to be employed by Rocky Mountain Adventures, Inc as Fly Fishing instructors. Rocky Mountain Adventures offers fly fishing classes in Fort Collins, Colorado for the beginner and intermediate angler. With the Fort Collins, Colorado location Rocky Mountain Adventures and Liarflies offers a Beginner Casting Class as well as the Beginner Angler’s Class. Students in the beginner casting class will learn how to cast a fly rod. Students will learn the roll cast, reach cast and the straight line cast. No need to worry about a rod and reel it is all provided in the casting class. This class is 2 hours in length. Our Beginner Angler Class gets the students in the water and allows them to experience and learn in actual fly fishing situations. We have designed the curriculum of this class to cut 5 years of the learning curve which will allow the students to experience success as a fly fishermen from the start. This class will be conducted in the canyon section of the Cache la Poudre near Fort Collins, Colorado. This lesson is 6 hours in length.
