Poudre River Fly Fishing: Despite the wind the Poudre River in Town fished well. All sub-surface action. Flows continue to be really low. Look for the deeper holes and runs. Today we got on the river at 8am. Midge action was booming. We were casting a dry dropper rig. We managed to catch one fish on the surface everything else was with a dropper. We did get several takes on streamers and netted one nice brown. Our Beginner Angler Classes are in full swing. This is a great introductory into the world of fly fishing.
