Our fly-fishing guides report that the water is up and the fish are down on the Poudre.
Ran a guided fishing trip on the Poudre today and was surprised to see that the water was up and cloudy. Not sure were the water was coming from. Worked the water above Century Park. Lots of Tricos in the AM, but nada fish came to the surface. Baetis picked up around noon. This was when we started to see noses.
