Flies of the week for 03-14-18
Flies of the week is back. Mid March means BWO’s on the Poudre. The winter fog is finally lifting, fishing with just midges is coming to an end. It is time to put a little spice in your fly box. Our Fort Collins Fly Fishing Guides have been offering our Beginner Angler Class in town this year. In the Classes last weekend we didn’t see a single BWO on the water. Yesterday’s class was much different. It was not a blizzard but they were trying. Nothing on the surface during the brief hatch but we did manage to get a nice brown with a #18 J’s BWO Emerger.
