Summer is winding down, its time to learn how to cast with a Switch Rod. Why not add a switch rod to your fly fishing arsenal. These rods are an absolute riot for trout. Many major rod companies are now producing trout friendly switch rods. Switch rods can be cast using the traditional over head or with the super sexy spey cast. We here at Rocky Mountain Adventures/Liarflies offer a switch rod casting class. In this class our students will learn the essential spey casts like the snap-t, snake roll and the double spey. Fall here in Northern Colorado means streamer fishing. I can not think of a better way to present a streamer fly on the Cache La Poudre then with a switch rod.
Switch Rod Casting Class Cost: $245. This class is taught on the water and students will need to have a Colorado Fishing License.
